If you want truly traditional hardwood flooring then solid planks are what you need. Finger Jointed Oak will add depth and character to any room.
Super Rustic grade is likely to contain all characteristics across all boards with any size of knot and level of colour variation in the timber to be expected. Expect to see some sapwood as well as checks and filler used in a colour to complement these natural variances in most boards.
